After working as an animator in “The Little Prince” (2015) and several music videos and short films, Evan DeRushie had in mind the dangers of exposition, via photo, film or even animation, for wildlife when he made “Birdtime” (2017), which has won several awards around the globe already.
He took it upon himself to show (in a not so rough way) how human exposition can change not only habitat but behavior. After all, the only thing the animal wants, is to survive, by any means possible.
Designed for all audiences, hope this short can get the ball rolling conversation wise, so family´s can talk about this topic.
