You maybe feel like watching a dark comedy film. According to NPR Music radio show named ‘All Songs Considered’, the co-host; Robin Hilton had an interview with Sean about his video, Bubbles Burst. Sean mentions he had met Bubbles at Michael’s house when he was a young child, and the song is about his memory at Michael’s house. He explains about Michael’s house; Neverland as “Charlie And The Chocolate Factory” and “Peter Pan fantasy land” in the interview. He says, “I was just trying to have fun and talk about an odd situation in a way that makes it art. It’s like a parallel dimension, and it’s a dark, comedic manifestation that comes more out of the song and not out of real life… As a visual poem, I think it represents something real: [Michael] was very lonely and he was weird and had weird interests”. As you see the music video, Michael and Bubbles ride on a flying bathtub, and it takes them a place looks like a fantasyland. As soon as Michael found paparazzi and media try to get him to the magical place, he transforms a metallic space machine to escape from the earth with his pet for protecting his privacy.
