Monster Makers has long been an industry favorite for it’s liquid and foam latex systems along with it’s special formula of sulfur free sculpting clay. Now they have set out to offer a clay that is positioned to revolutionize the sculpting industry and maybe even the stop motion animation industry. With their new product called COSCLAY they intend to bring to market a flexible polymer clay that once baked won’t crack and will hold a rubbery consistency. This is unheard of in the polymer clay industry and has been something of a holy grail in terms of design and production.
They recently started a Kickstarter campaign to launch the product and the results have been amazing. Within hours of the offering the met and surpassed their goal. They already are in production of COSCLAY and this funding campaign was a way of expanding the product and manufacturing to allow for more colors and packaging options. We are extremely excited about the prospect of using this type of clay in animation production. We can’t wait to get our hands on some of this stuff.
