“Los Sustos ocultos de Frankelda” (Frankelda´s scary stories) is a stop motion series created by mexican studio Cinema Fantasma, for Cartoon Network Latin America.
A young girl in an abandoned creepy house, Frankelda (a mashup of the names Frankestein and Mathilda) loves telling scary stories, which are a mixture of fairy and mythological tales, ancient mexican legends, and original stories, with a modern twist.
Posting a pilot first, the overwhelming public response landed the studio a deal with Cartoon Network LA, and now there´s a first season, 5 chapter, 7 min. long each.
An anthology series, in each episode Frankelda will tell a story from her magic book.
