This stop-motion animated short film, Gulp is made by Sumo Science at the British animation studio, Aardman. The sand artwork was done by SAND IN YOUR EYE. The shooting was located at an actual beach, Pendine Beach in South Wales. The artist used a Nokia N8, which is a touchscreen-based smartphone, for the shooting to create this film. The story is about an adventure of a fisherman getting caught in a belly of a giant fish. According to the Guinness world record official website, the film Gulp is “The largest set for a stop-motion animation was a section of beach measuring 1025.04 m² (11033 ft²)…and premiered in 2011”.
