Based on the successful volleyball themed manga from Haruichi Furudate, the Haikyu (also known as Haikyuu, Haikyu!!) anime (2014-2016, with a fourth season in works, this year) released compilation films at the end of every season.
But for the manga compilation Vol. 42, a special 26min. 10 episode stop motion shorts DVD will be included. Featuring 10 characters of the volleyball story, animator Tomoyasu Murata porduction of 3 years will be available on January 2020.
This deluxe version will include all 10 books plus the new story.
