This gorgeous stop-motion short, The Man Who Was Afraid of Falling, created by a film and theatre director, Joseph Wallace. He also has written and designed for this film. According to Joseph’s official website, it mentions about this short – “Graduation film from Newport Film School. Created in eight months. Shot with a Canon 5D and DragonFrame. Almost everything made from cardboard”. Using cardboards helps to bring an organic feeling, and it is beautiful. This story is about an elder man, Ivor, paranoid of falling after he saw a plant pot falls from a window and break. He becomes ask himself ‘what if I fell?’.

Joseph works based in London and working in animation, live action performance, and puppetry. His short films have won awards and been screened at festivals internationally also his graduation film was nominated for the British Academy Cymru Awards in 2012.
