Suzanne Moulton used her experience making puppets (Coraline, Paranorman) and her love for nature and endangered species to make “Nowheres Wolf”.
“The film follows wolf OR-7, lovingly named Journey, who is the first confirmed wolf west of the Cascades in California, since the last wolf bounty had been collected in 1947.”
This short aims to raise awareness and challenge people’s misconception about wolves; with the population of wolves slowly increasing into their old habitat, people expressed fear about wild animals getting closer to their homes. The goal is to make people identify with Journey and learn about wolves thanks to the animated short.
Suzanne is also creating less toxic options in materials for animators to work with. The project needs funding to finish the project, you can donate here.
