PETCO – Saving Up / Holiday Tails is a story of kindness, love, and giving during these holiday seasons. The commercial follows a little boy who sets out to earn enough money to buy the bike he has always wanted. To his surprise his parents get him the bike for Christmas. So what does the little boy do but go to the local animal shelter and adopt a one legged dog. Their bond is instantaneous and the boy sacrifices his Christmas bike for the happiness of his pup. The stop motion commercial has been viewed over a 2 million times and utilizes felt technique to make the puppets.
