Michael Shanks short film Rebooted follows Phil: a stop-motion animated skeleton, looking for work in Hollywood. Animated by Samuel Lewis (Lost & Found), the piece is a love letter to classical effects in movies, following the idea of Shanks: what if special effects creatures were actors? Using a mix of classical effects, stop-motion, CGI and hand drawn, this short mirrors the tough day to day job search, with the silver lining: “believe in yourself”.
