Director Mark C. Smith film Two Balloons, follows Bernard & Elba, a couple of ring-tailed lemurs, who go with their dirigibles to the place they met for the first time, in a 1950´s environment.
With the lead animator, Teresa Drilling (Anomalisa, Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit), Mark planned the shots, wanting to give his characters an anthropomorphic look, without loosing some typical lemur movements.
Inspired by songs he heard and a passage from a book, the short film has won multiple awards and its available on amazon prime.
