The first fully painted animation feature film; Loving Vincent will release this September. This film is directed by Dorota Kobiela and is produced by the production companies, BreakThru Films and Trademark Films. The film is about a Dutch post-impressionist painter, Vincent Van Gogh’s life and his mysterious death. According to this video named “This Vincent Van Gogh movie is incredible” by INSIDER, it explains the movie uses 12 oil paintings per second, so it requires “720 paintings in just ONE minute.” The video also explains over 100 painters worked on create oil paintings for this film. The painters have trained Van Gogh’s techniques – his remarkable dramatic brush strokes that expressed emotions and feelings through the oil paintings.
