Currently in festivals, the horror/suspense short film from Mikail Ekiz is “a Stop-Motion/3D Hybrid Short about a gas station convenience store clerk who has a Magic 8 Ball for a head that can predict the future, he lives in a constant state of paranoia due to the fear that others will discover his secret”.

For his inspiration to make his senior thesis project,  Ekiz remembered a particular, kind of out-of-this-world, supernatural feeling, while being in a gas station. You know, the kind of stations that seem to be in the middle of nowhere, between towns, in the side of a road. Trying to portray that particular feeling was the most important thing.
Can´t wait to see the full film!
