Amazon announced new lineup for their upcoming pilot season! The shows are including two one-hour pilots, and six kids pilots will be available from June 17, 2016 for Amazon Video subscribers in the US, UK, Germany, Austria and Japan.
The list of the new lineup is two one-hour dramas: The Interestings, and The Last Tycoon, one live-action show; Sigmund and the Sea Monsters, and the five animated pilots; The Curious Kitty and Friends, Morris and the Cow, Jazz Duck, Toasty Tales, and Little Big Awesome. Especially, you do not want to miss The Curious Kitty and Friends if you love to watch stop-motion animated films. This Japanese stop-motion animated show released back in 2006 and called Konameko. It was created by Tsuneo Gōda who is a creator of the Japanese character, Domo. Gōda had established character and animation studio named ‘Dwarf‘ in Tokyo, Japan since 2003.
Amazon gives an opportunity for all subscribers to stream and review pilots in order to help choose the next Amazon Original Series that will be available to Prime Members. Variety had published an article and mentions, Amazon Studios Head; Roy Price said “We’re focused on bringing customers compelling, must-see TV and we accomplish this by going directly to them for input… Our process has proven to work time and time again. Their feedback has helped create series that have become fan favorites among critics and customers.” This new pilots will be available from Amazon Video app for smart TVs, mobile phones and other streaming devices or online at Amazon Video’s website.
