Now, they learn to live together in this new environment, while coping with different life matters. Based on the bestselling book Even Mice Belong in Heaven, by Iva Procházková, the film is a Czech-French-Polish-Slovak co-production scheduled for early 2021.
“It’s a film about searching for love and fulfilment,” says Bubeníček. So its much more than a children´s film.
Apart from its focus on the afterlife, the movie is a combination of classic puppet animation and CG. The shoot took 14 months, with 80 different sets and the stop-motion part made at Barrandov Studios in Prague.
