Now, they learn to live together in this new environment, while coping with different life matters. Based on the bestselling bookEven Mice Belong in Heaven, by Iva Procházková, the film is a Czech-French-Polish-Slovak co-production scheduled for early 2021.
“It’s a film about searching for love and fulfilment,” says Bubeníček. So its much more than a children´s film.
Apart from its focus on the afterlife, the movie is a combination of classic puppet animation and CG. The shoot took 14 months, with 80 different sets and the stop-motion part made at Barrandov Studios in Prague.
