We lost one of the legendary animators, Terry Brain, on March 25th, 2016. The British animator, Brain has passed away at the age of 60 after a two years battled with cancer. In the interview with BBC, Brain’s son, David Brain, said “Dad was a smiley, relaxed person – and a veteran in the industry, who inspired many young animators.” Brain is known as one of the creators of a stop-motion animated TV series, The Trap Door. He created the series with another animator, Charlie Mills. Brain was also an animator at a British animation studio, Aardman Animations in Bristol and worked on the famous stop-motion animated films and TV shows such as Shaun the Sheep, Chicken Run and Wallace and Gromit.
