The beautiful combination of CGI and photographic images’ backgrounds, and the mysterious robotic creatures and sets will make you feel like you arrived a different planet. Eva Franz and Andy Goralczyk directed this mixed media stop-motion animated short film of OMEGA. The freaky alien story OMEGA is about the mysterious creature named Ohm absorbs other electric creatures and survives in a devastated planet. According to the official website, it explains the world of OMEGA was created by students of at the University of Arts and Design in Karlsruhe, Germany. It also explains the pre-production took almost four years to complete. There are 20 kinds of mechanical puppets in the film, and the artist used a variety of materials for them.
