The puppets and set materials make you feel comfort and warm. The Belgian filmmakers, Emma De Swaef and Marc James Roelsused, used wool for creating their puppets and sets for this stop-motion short film, Oh Willy. According to the website ‘directorenote.com’, Emma says, “The main inspiration source was Diane Arbus’s photo of people living in nudist colonies. The photos are as poetic as they are uncomfortably banal and confronting”. Emma used wool for creating the sets and the puppets because she believes wool is the perfect material for expressing the theme of naturalism through this story. This film is about the main character, Willy, visits his dying mother where is a nudist town. After Willy’s mother died, he became emotional and went to the forest. Willy met a big gentle hairy beast…
