In this quarantene period, the lockdown has served us to reflect in different ways. For animator Kate Miller, the reflection was…well, toilet paper. She did “a stop motion reflection on life during shelter-in-place created with our most precious commodity – toilet paper.”
KQED, the public media radio and television outlet based in San Francisco, made the first The first Annual Homemade Film Festival. It was “inspired by staying creative and connected during shelter-in-place. The Award Winning short film of the KQED Homemade Film Festival, 2 Ply Over the Cuckoo’s Nest is an animated short created by filmmaker Kate Miller.”
