Polina Kutukina´s 2018 short revolves around a young priest and an old nun and the way their interactions clash inside a little church.
The 25 year old russian animator flaunts her talent in detail of movement (her movement annalisis in the Baryshnikov study is amazing).
As she describes in her AniShort 2017 film presentation, “The film carries the idea that besides the spiritual world, each of us builds its own world for ourselves. We should not forget as well about the physical world that is around us. It is the symbiosis that presents the world in which “the ceiling does not fall on our heads”.

Sometimes little things can save us. In more than one way.
