Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon looks to be out of this world. The new feature film by Aardman Animation is scheduled to be out May 2019 through Studiocanal and is expected to be a big hit. They just released a trailer for the film recently which shows poor little Shaun getting abducted by aliens. The cinematography for his film is beautiful right out of the gate. Opening shot with the grain swaying in the wing is so lovely that it could literally be a painting.
What we know about the film so far is that a strange visitor from a far off galaxy crashes near the town of Mossingham. The closest farm being Shauns home Mossy Bottom Farm being the setting of the chaos that ensues. Shaun and his barnyard friends must race against time to get their new found alien friend back to her planet before a sinister organization captures her. The tale is supposed to be a fun heart warming one for all ages and we can’t wait until it is in theaters.
The film is directed by Richard Phelan and Will Becher. It’s written by Jon Brown and Mark Burton, produced by Paul Kewley. Executive producers are Mark Burton, Richard Starzak, Peter Lord, Nick Park, and David Sproxton.
