Beastars is an anime series, broadcasted on Fuji TV + Ultra, by TOHO animation and licensed by Netflix, released on October 8th, 2019 exclusively in Japan.
Based on the awarded manga series by Paru Itagaki (best 2018 manga: Manga Taishō Award), starting in 2016 and currently in course, the story is set in a high school where students are anthropomorphic animals, divided in predators and pray.
Even through the anime is made in 3D, the opening of the series is in stop motion.
The intro, by Dwarf Studios shows the main characters, Legoshi and Haru interacting with each other with a twist ending that gives you on average the tone of the story.
We´re hoping Netflix will release it worldwide anytime soon!!
