They say when you´re in an animated production, sometimes you blend with your work. The Canadian director exposes this beautifully with Dolls Don´t Cry, with paper maché like dolls.
Being his fourth stop motion short, this story portraits the grueling job as an animator; building sets, clothing, dolls, etc., when days become nights and the arm of a puppet suddenly is as important as your own.
