An Argentine artist, Juan Manuel Costa’s stop-motion animated short film; Doña Urbenza is known as the 3rd winner of Best Film – Environmental Film of 12th International Animation Festival of Brazil. Juan worked this short film for an Argentine female singer, Mariana Carrizo’s song. We normally see artists use clay puppets for stop-motion animated film, yet we see Juan used different materials in this film. According to the animation organization, ANIMA’s official Facebook page mentions Juan used wool, fleece, and felt for the animation materials for this film because Ubenza is a weaver.
