Finally, Love me, Fear me is here for us to enjoy!
Graduate film by Veronica Solomon from the Film University Babelsberg, depicts the lengths we will go to in order to be seen, accepted, loved.
A beautiful set of dance sequences display the dancers state of mind and emotion and we can feel how she changes as the audience looses interest. The dancer changes feel, color and even form, goes from soft to hard, in order to achieve the spotlight again. For how long is she willing to do it?
Skilled clay puppetry, no movement is wasted in this award winning short. Enjoy!
“What would you be willing to do for them to love you?
LOVE ME, FEAR ME is a reflection on the roles we play and the shapes we take, about the stages we chose, the audience we try to impress and the price of acceptance.”
