“Currently in pre-production The Inventor is a stylized, stop motion puppet and 2-D hand drawn animated film about Leonardo Da Vinci.
The insatiably curious and headstrong inventor Leonardo da Vinci leaves Italy to join the French court, where he can experiment freely, inventing flying contraptions, incredible machines, and studying the human body. There, joined in his adventure by the audacious princess Marguerite, Leonardo will uncover the answer to the ultimate question ~ “What is the meaning of it all? “
Inspired by the life and times of Leonardo da Vinci – “The Inventor” is the humorous and touching story of the headstrong Leonardo leaving Italy at the request of the French court to be First Painter, Engineer and Architect to his majesty King Francis I. It is here, away from all that he knows, where Leonardo discovers the true meaning of life itself.
This exhilarating adventure will be voiced by Stephen Fry (Leonardo) and Daisy Ridley (Marguerite) – with additional cast to be announced soon.”
The production is launching a kickstarter campaign soon.
