Evan DeRushie´s 2012 film, The Fox and the Chickadee, is a beautifully animated tale.
Based on a children´s fable the animator wrote back in 2008, the Canadian got funding trough an IndieGoGo campaign and the National Film Board of Canada.
A combination of puppets and cut out animation, this story shows the duel game of cunning and quick thinking, to save one´s life, and to get a meal for the other.
